Nate is officially one month old today! We celebrated by taking him on a whirlwind tour of the Bay Area - down to Natural Resources for a workshop on baby slings and carriers (we bought a great sling that we hope will allow Mom to have use of her hands while she is home alone with Nate during the week), then to have coffee and visits with friends in the Mission and Bernal Heights, then over to Marin to look at a new used car for Mommy and Daddy, and finally to visit Heather, Teja and Sabine in their new home in San Anselmo. We were out of the house for more than 8 hours and everyone did great (though Nate did go through all the diapers and outfits Mom had brought along for him). AND when we weighed Nate at Natural Resources, we learned that he now weighs about 10lbs, 10 oz! Yikes! But really, the car seat gives him extra chins and cheeks - he's not that chubby yet!
