Saturday at the beach

This past Saturday we had fabulous warm weather and so decided to take Nate up to Point Reyes for his first real beach experience. As you can see, he really enjoyed himself! He was wet and covered in sand within a few minutes of arriving. He loved the waves even though they scared him a little too, and he still gets excited when we say 'ocean'. Thankfully the water was pretty cold so he didn't keep trying to run in. Mama and Dadda were also pleased to have planned the trip perfectly, leaving about 9:15am right after breakfast so that Nate snoozed on the way up, and then leaving for home at 2pm after several hours lounging and playing and eating - so that Nate slept soundly for the entire 90 minute ride home! PS - note Nate's farmer tan where his hands are brown and his arms are white!!
